Abby & Andrew- Family Cabin Engagement Session

What a fun engagement session, and what a fun couple!  Abby and Andrew are wonderfully in love and a blast to be around.

I knew that they would be my ideal clients when I heard that they spend their winters in Canada working in a small ski town (right up my alley!) and then spend their summers down here in Fort Collins.

I am so excited for their wedding later this summer at Della Terra in Estes Park. Abby and Andrew are incredibly lucky because Abby’s sister happens to be the very talented wedding planner Jill Berquist of Cloutier Events and Jill is working hard to plan all the details of their big day.

After lots of debate over whether or not we would be able to shoot in the foothills (due to the High Park fire) we deemed it was safe and we traveled up to Andrew’s family’s cabin north of the Poudre Canyon. What an amazingly beautiful area. It is also a very special place to Abby and Andrew, it is where Andrew proposed.

It did threaten to rain on us, but the weather held out (we were hoping it would unleash just south of us onto the fire, but no luck) and the clouds provided beautiful light to shoot in.

Abby and Andrew, I can’t wait for your wedding. It will be an incredible day full of love. I can already envision the huge smiles on your faces and the wonderful laughter that will abound. Thank you for entrusting me to be there to capture it all.
