I have a lot of work and blogging to catch up on after returning from Maine, but last night we took some time to enjoy a phenomenal meal prepared by Meadow Lark Farm Dinners, hosted by Oxford Gardens Farm in Boulder.  It was so nice to slow down for an evening; enjoy amazing food, wonderful company and gorgeous surroundings.  What a treat.

I love shooting in new places that I have never been to before.  Last week I drove up to Cheyenne to do my first children’s portrait session in the state of Wyoming! Recently I had the great pleasure of photographing Sarah & Dan’s wonderful Denver wedding. It was at the at the beautiful Hudson Gardens with their ceremony in Monet’s Garden and the reception to follow on site. Sarah and Dan put together fun details that included wonderful hats that Sarah’s Mom found at an antique show, a fabulous short wedding dress, amazing bouquets from the Perfect Petal, great food from Catering by Design and wonderful tunes by A Music +. Recently I had the honor of photographing this beautiful family. Marvin is currently fighting a rare form of cancer and he is fighting hard and has tons of love and support to get him through. Here is another wonderful family that I have been lucky enough to photograph over the years.  You may remember their daughter all curled up on a blanket as a newborn, and then again as she began to walk.  And then there was the addition of her sweet little brother. And now look at them!  Wow. How did I get so lucky to be surrounded by such sweeties? I am so glad that I will be able to watch them grow and change throughout the years.  Best, Rachel  

This little guy is growing so fast, I can’t believe it.  You may remember him from these photos two years ago and these from last year, look how much he has changed!  Now he is a speedster on his strider bike and loves running around all over the playground.
