Oh these gorgeous families! Thank you so much for being part of the portrait mini sessions- and for being flexible with the rain! I love seeing these families grow and change every year.
This beautiful mama seemed to know that she was having a boy well before her ultrasound could tell her.. maybe because this next little one was coming into a family with 8 grandsons preceding him! Well, she was right. They welcomed the ninth grandson a few short weeks ago. I love meeting these little people in their first two weeks of life (I forget how small they are…and it wasn’t even that long ago for me) they are still so sleepy and for the most part they let us run the show. (What I mean… Read More »
Boy was there ever a chill in the air for our shoot…yet we braved it! Thank you to this adorable family for braving the cold and heading out with me to get some family photos of all of you together. You may remember Kelley and Jason from their beautiful Telluride wedding 3 years ago. Kelley is an amazing photographer herself…so she takes lots of fabulous photos of her brood…but she needed to be in some herself (I know that struggle all too well). So once their sweet new addition was awake we headed out into… Read More »
Get ready for image overload…but that is what happens when you have a spectacular wedding day bursting with love and full of amazing moments. The incredible Jill of Cloutier Events (and wonderful sister of the bride!) put together an incredible line up of vendors for Abby & Andrew’s wedding day. First off- Della Terra Mountain Chateau, not only is it an beautiful venue nestled right on the edge of Rocky Mountain Nation Park; Della Terra (as perfectly stated on their website) is “family designed, built, managed and operated with pride” by Darell and Pam Amelang,… Read More »
I met up with Lynn & Kyle in Wash Park for their engagement session. They were flying in from either side of the country to finalize their last minute details for their Denver wedding next week- they have been planning their big day at Hudson Gardens from California and Virginia (and I have to say that they may be one of the most organized, detailed couples I have ever met. Kyle’s timeline is a piece of art! Thank you.) While they were in town we took a little time out of their busy day to capture a few “official” images for the… Read More »
It was an incredible day in the Vail Valley! Courtney and Ryan put together the most wonderful day to celebrate their love for one another. They were surrounded by friends and family and their day sparkled with amazing DIY touches. The amazing feather boutonnieres and Dexter’s (the dog) tux were made by Courtney’s mom . The invites and programs were made by Ryan’s sister. Two close friends stepped in- one as the officiant and the other as the DJ. The antique jars and dollies were Courtney’s Grandma’s. And the food was prepared by Courtney’s parents, her mom’s… Read More »

Well, I am a very lucky person to call this beautiful girl (inside and out!) my niece. It was so fun to spend the evening together creating her senior portrait. As you can see, my job was easy…when you have such a gorgeous gal on the other side of the camera! Thank you Britta for allowing me to be part of this special time in your life. I can’t believe that you are a senior. Time is passing WAY to quickly. I can’t wait to see where next year takes you. You will be amazing!… Read More »
These two beautiful souls are expecting the arrival of their first child in a little over a month. I can’t wait to see if they will need to buy blue or pink (I love when people save the surprise!). And of course we couldn’t forget their first baby, Dargan, so we were sure to include her in some shots too. Thank you for inviting me to capture this special time in your lives. You will make amazing parents!
This wedding was extra special to me, because Regina is my darling cousin! It was such an honor and privilege to be the one entrusted to capture all of her memories for her. Their day was full of so much love and FUN…as I expected it to be with these two dynamic people, who are full of life. You may remember Regina and John from their Colorado engagement session last winter. As I mentioned in that post, these two have hearts of gold and also have tons of energy. Regina is a preschool teacher for… Read More »
