We were able to squeeze in a photo session before their travels take them out of the country yet again. Just as they get re-settled into the American life, they are off to life “down under” later this year (so fun!) It was so wonderful to hang out with you for the afternoon. I can’t wait to hear about your adventures overseas! All the best, Rachel
This sweet little peanut is 8 months old already! You may remember her from her newborn portrait shoot, which feels like it took place just yesterday… how time flies! And you can’t forget big brother…who is also getting bigger, and more hilarious by the moment. This darling family is in the middle of building their new home, and decided that it would be the perfect location for the shoot- and it was. I love how clean and simple the images are. We laid out a white blanket and enjoyed the amazing natural light that was… Read More »
Well, as promised here it the second group of amazing families. Could they get any cuter? This day of shooting took place the first weekend in October, and luckily we had summer-like weather, hovering around the high 80s! (You never know what you are going to get in the fall in Colorado) Thank you for being part of day 2. It was such a joy. (Watch out- image overload coming your way!)
What fun & what a gorgeous group of families. At the end of September I did a day of mini portrait sessions (it actually broke into two days due to some afternoon rain) for families to get updated photos of the kids and/or a great picture for a holiday card. Thank you to everyone who took part, it was lots of fun. Look at all of these beauties! Stay tuned…there was a whole second day filled with amazing families!
We made a quick trip up to Vail last weekend- one more jaunt before this babe arrives! While we were there we took the opportunity to do a quick mini portrait session with this darling family. How could you pass it up with these smiles?
Well, as promised… here is the update. (Not about me- yet!) But about this beautiful family and their newest addition. They welcomed a beautiful baby girl just under a month ago. It was so fun to visit them at their home in Denver and see how they are adjusting to life as a family of four. Big brother is doing a great job with his little sister. I love the series of him checking out her toes and then making his way up to give her a “hug”! As their pediatrician said, they will raise a tough… Read More »
I had a great day with these beautiful families in Denver’s City Park. What a pleasure- a full day of interacting with these amazing parents and kids. Thanks for taking part in my first ever Denver Mini Session day… I’ll be sure to repeat it next year! Best, Rachel
I love shooting in new places that I have never been to before. Last week I drove up to Cheyenne to do my first children’s portrait session in the state of Wyoming! We met at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens for one year old portraits of this sweet little girl. (Of course I had been to Cheyenne- but I had never been to the Botanic Gardens!) Don’t you just want to eat her up? Thank you for inviting me up to your neck of the woods. It was so fun to meet you, and I am so impressed… Read More »
Recently I had the honor of photographing this beautiful family. Marvin is currently fighting a rare form of cancer and he is fighting hard and has tons of love and support to get him through. I love how his Facebook profile says About Marvin: “ Soon to be Cancer Survivor!!!” I am inspired by your strength and resilience, and I know that it will help you get through this fight. Thank you for inviting me to photograph you and your beautiful family. I am sending you love, prayers, strength and support. Keep fighting the good fight and keep that positive attitude in your heart. You are an inspiration! Best,… Read More »
Here is another wonderful family that I have been lucky enough to photograph over the years. You may remember their daughter all curled up on a blanket as a newborn, and then again as she began to walk. And then there was the addition of her sweet little brother. And now look at them! Wow. How did I get so lucky to be surrounded by such sweeties? I am so glad that I will be able to watch them grow and change throughout the years. Best, Rachel
