Over this Thanksgiving weekend I am especially thankful for this wonderful family. This family embodies love, strength, courage and let’s not forget ever present humor, which helped them laugh in the face of cancer over the past year. Tress is a cancer survivor! Thanks to her “GAME ON” team, her incredibly supportive family & friends and her unyielding faith, she has weathered this storm with dignity, grace, strength, courage and a serious dose of humor. Their ability to take such an ugly experience, rise above it and laugh in it’s face, truly amazes me. What… Read More »
Another smashing bunch of families! I am so blessed to see many of them year after year, and I LOVE seeing how the kids grow and change. Thank you for taking part in the Mini Sessions. What a terrific way to spend my day, lucky me! (Image overload coming at you…)
You may recognize this darling couple from when I photographed them back in September for their maternity session. Well, the question of what “will it be?” has been answered; they recently welcomed a beautiful baby boy and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to photograph this beautiful bundle. This little man has hit the jackpot when it comes to parents (and grandparents and aunts & uncles)…you are one blessed baby that will be showered with love throughout your life. I can’t wait to watch you grow. Thank you for inviting me to photograph… Read More »
Oh these gorgeous families! Thank you so much for being part of the portrait mini sessions- and for being flexible with the rain! I love seeing these families grow and change every year.
This beautiful mama seemed to know that she was having a boy well before her ultrasound could tell her.. maybe because this next little one was coming into a family with 8 grandsons preceding him! Well, she was right. They welcomed the ninth grandson a few short weeks ago. I love meeting these little people in their first two weeks of life (I forget how small they are…and it wasn’t even that long ago for me) they are still so sleepy and for the most part they let us run the show. (What I mean… Read More »
Boy was there ever a chill in the air for our shoot…yet we braved it! Thank you to this adorable family for braving the cold and heading out with me to get some family photos of all of you together. You may remember Kelley and Jason from their beautiful Telluride wedding 3 years ago. Kelley is an amazing photographer herself…so she takes lots of fabulous photos of her brood…but she needed to be in some herself (I know that struggle all too well). So once their sweet new addition was awake we headed out into… Read More »

Well, I am a very lucky person to call this beautiful girl (inside and out!) my niece. It was so fun to spend the evening together creating her senior portrait. As you can see, my job was easy…when you have such a gorgeous gal on the other side of the camera! Thank you Britta for allowing me to be part of this special time in your life. I can’t believe that you are a senior. Time is passing WAY to quickly. I can’t wait to see where next year takes you. You will be amazing!… Read More »
These two beautiful souls are expecting the arrival of their first child in a little over a month. I can’t wait to see if they will need to buy blue or pink (I love when people save the surprise!). And of course we couldn’t forget their first baby, Dargan, so we were sure to include her in some shots too. Thank you for inviting me to capture this special time in your lives. You will make amazing parents!
This beautiful family welcomed a little sister into the family. Luckily mom made it to the hospital JUST in time for her arrival! Big sis is doing a great job sharing the spotlight. You may remember her from her big debut 2 years ago I think her little sis shares quite a resemblance! Congratulations on your two beautiful girls! I can’t wait to watch them grow and change! Thank you for inviting me to capture this special time for you. Best, Rachel
