This beautiful family welcomed a little sister into the family. Luckily mom made it to the hospital JUST in time for her arrival! Big sis is doing a great job sharing the spotlight. You may remember her from her big debut 2 years ago I think her little sis shares quite a resemblance! Congratulations on your two beautiful girls! I can’t wait to watch them grow and change! Thank you for inviting me to capture this special time for you. Best, Rachel
These two are growing up way too fast (and that means my kiddos are as well, since they are buds!). You may remember these sweeties from this shoot back when she was just about 6 months old and he was around 3. But here they are now! As cute as ever. We wish you didn’t live so far away…but can’t wait for you to move back! Thank you for inviting me to document your sweeties as they grow, I love it. Best, Rachel

This has been such a wonderful project to work on. Wonderful babies and families and an incredible local business to work with. Thank you for inviting me to take part in it. I can’t wait to see what the amazing people One Tribe Creative come up with. Here are some of the images from lifestyle shoot #3.
What a beautiful family inside and out! Even though it took us awhile to find a date that would work for our portrait session… we lucked out (despite the 98+ degree weather and the High Park fire haze) with the perfect evening! It was so fun to get to know this gorgeous family better, and it was especially fun to see their beautiful girls interact. These two sweethearts are roughly 4 years apart, just like my girls, so it gave me a fun idea of what it will be like once my two girls are… Read More »
Thirsties, the awesome cloth diaper company, is working on new marketing materials with a “lifestyle” feel. Here are some fun shots from our second shoot. One more outside shoot to come, stay tuned!
I had so much fun with Alicia and Crystal of Bella Fiori and the very talented RJ Kern of kern-photo in my own backyard (and garage!). Alicia had a wonderful idea of featuring floral headdresses on her amazing floral blog flirty fleurs, and to top of the week she had to try on these beautiful pieces for herself! This was such a fun, “out of the box” shoot for me, that pushed my creative (and technical lighting) abilities. A big thank you to my wonderful brother-in-law, the amazingly talented RJ Kern for including me in… Read More »
The awesome cloth diaper company Thirsties is working on a new print: argyle! We had a great time getting some shots for their new catalog. I have talked about Thirsties before, but it never hurts to repeat why this company is so great: Thirsties Modern Cloth Diapers are an incredible new way to think about cloth diapering. Check out their site and see for yourself: – how easy it can be – how good you can feel about supporting a local, home grown company – how happy you will make the earth (and the future… Read More »
These little guys are just edible! You may remember big brother from our family shoot about a year ago. At that time his mom and I were both early in our pregnancies and we were comparing notes on nausea and exhaustion. And still today we are comparing notes about exhaustion, this time due to interrupted sleep! I had a great time meeting their newest addition. Seriously, could he get any cuter? Thank you for inviting me to photograph your gorgeous family again! Best, Rachel
We were able to squeeze in a photo session before their travels take them out of the country yet again. Just as they get re-settled into the American life, they are off to life “down under” later this year (so fun!) It was so wonderful to hang out with you for the afternoon. I can’t wait to hear about your adventures overseas! All the best, Rachel
