Anne & Adam – Grand Lake Wedding

July 26, 2012 | Weddings

Anne and Adam had a beautiful wedding in Grand Lake, a place that is near and dear to their hearts. The day started at Anne’s family’s beautiful cabin, which was hand built by her father. It is aptly named “Almost Heaven” and I can appreciate why. I was amazed at all of the D.I.Y (Do it Yourself) details that Anne created for their wedding day. I think her father’s quote about her amazing creativity was something to the effect of  “this was a craft project on steroids.” Anne “bedazeled” her shoes, made her jewelry and her bridesmaid’s jewelry,… Read More »

Abby & Andrew- Family Cabin Engagement Session

June 22, 2012 | Weddings

What a fun engagement session, and what a fun couple!  Abby and Andrew are wonderfully in love and a blast to be around. I knew that they would be my ideal clients when I heard that they spend their winters in Canada working in a small ski town (right up my alley!) and then spend their summers down here in Fort Collins. I am so excited for their wedding later this summer at Della Terra in Estes Park. Abby and Andrew are incredibly lucky because Abby’s sister happens to be the very talented wedding planner… Read More »

Regina & John’s Colorado Engagement Session

January 7, 2012 | Weddings

Regina and John decided that Colorado would be the perfect place to have their engagement portraits done, despite the fact that they will be getting married next summer on Coronado Island outside of San Diego.  These two were hoping for snow, and lots of it.  We didn’t have a lot, but we did have a little bit to work with…and they had a great time playing around in it (while freezing their hands off!). Regina and John are two amazing people. Regina is a preschool teacher for special needs children (and happens to be my… Read More »

The flowers from The Little Flower Market added to the beauty of the naturally gorgeous Hudson Gardens Venue. And the reception went off without a hitch with the help of The DJ Guy and a delicious cake made by the Makery. Karen… Read More »

Lillee & Shawn- Newagen Inn Wedding #2

October 10, 2011 | Weddings

Well, as promised here is the second part of Lillee & Shawn’s amazing wedding at the Newagen Inn in Southport Maine. In Lillee’s words “As the amazing night wore on, east did meet west and clothing changed over to comfortable summer dresses and shirts and ties; and thanks to our amazing band, the dancing never stopped!” And I may have forgotten to mention, there was a small big weather threat, Hurricane Irene!  It was forecasted to roll into Maine sometime- from the middle of the night to the middle of the next day.  So there was added tension and drama since… Read More »
