Regina & John- Coronado Island Wedding
This wedding was extra special to me, because Regina is my darling cousin! It was such an honor and privilege to be the one entrusted to capture all of her memories for her. Their day was full of so much love and FUN…as I expected it to be with these two dynamic people, who are full of life. You may remember Regina and John from their Colorado engagement session last winter. As I mentioned in that post, these two have hearts of gold and also have tons of energy. Regina is a preschool teacher for… Read More »
Regina & John’s Colorado Engagement Session
Regina and John decided that Colorado would be the perfect place to have their engagement portraits done, despite the fact that they will be getting married next summer on Coronado Island outside of San Diego. These two were hoping for snow, and lots of it. We didn’t have a lot, but we did have a little bit to work with…and they had a great time playing around in it (while freezing their hands off!). Regina and John are two amazing people. Regina is a preschool teacher for special needs children (and happens to be my… Read More »

Lillee & Shawn- Newagen Inn Wedding #2
Well, as promised here is the second part of Lillee & Shawn’s amazing wedding at the Newagen Inn in Southport Maine. In Lillee’s words “As the amazing night wore on, east did meet west and clothing changed over to comfortable summer dresses and shirts and ties; and thanks to our amazing band, the dancing never stopped!” And I may have forgotten to mention, there was a small big weather threat, Hurricane Irene! It was forecasted to roll into Maine sometime- from the middle of the night to the middle of the next day. So there was added tension and drama since… Read More »
Lillee & Shawn- Newagen Inn Wedding, Maine
Oh where do I begin? This wedding was an unbelievable treat and honor to photograph. When one of your dearest friends asks you to photograph their wedding a mix of emotions floods over you. (At least for me) I was filled with excitement but I felt a lot of pressure too. I wanted to capture everything. Every moment. Every ounce of excitement. Every meaningful detail. I put a lot of pressure on myself, and since it was a destination wedding I was shooting solo, so that also added to my nerves- I kept thinking will… Read More »
Session in the Cities!
This world is very small indeed. I am continually amazed at how small it really is. When Christy & Wade contacted me about their wedding in Cordillera this fall…who would have guessed that I would be shooting their engagement session in Minneapolis while I was out there visitng family AND who would have guessed that in of a city of roughly 390, 000 people…that Christy and Wade would live DIRECTLY behind my sister in law. Crazy, right? Well, that seems to be the way my life works…and I am so happy that it does, because… Read More »
Caroline & Cameron – Princeton Chapel Wedding
As you can see…there was so much joy exuded during this beautiful day. Caroline & Cameron had an incredible wedding in Princeton New Jersey. Since they met and fell in love while students at the prestigious Princeton University, what better place than the Princeton Campus to get married? Their joyous wedding took place in the amazing Princeton Chapel (which is a great misnomer- “chapel” hardly encapsulates the grandeur of the cathedral that it is) and their reception was at the gorgeous Prospect House, also on campus. Caroline got ready at the quintessential east coast inn,… Read More »
