There is nothing better than mixing work with pleasure. And truly… I feel as if I get to do that on a daily basis with this job; every shoot, every wedding has tons of pleasure built in. The afternoons have been hit or miss when it comes to sun the last few weeks. We were watching the weather closely…and got very lucky! We had the most gorgeous afternoon to head out into the Colorado sunshine. And I LOVE the sun kissed feel of these last images. Oh the evening light is so beautiful. It is so fun to do something out of my “box.” I recently had the great privilege of working with some of the stylists at the fantastic Europa Colour Salon & Spa in Fort Collins. It was a lot of fun to watch the stylists work and come up with some fantastic makeup and hair styles for the models!

This little man is full of giggles! I adore photographing children around 6-9 months of age. They are so interactive, yet they can’t run away from you! Thank you for sharing the morning with me it was such a pleasure to work with such a sweet, fun loving family!

I have featured this fabulous family many times and I can’t wait to show you their newest addition! He is well loved with two older siblings (yes one is a dog…but Bijou, I know you are probably as smart as a human!) and two fantastic parents. I had the best time shooting Bree’s maternity photos…she was the most adventurous soul battling hurricane force winds up at Horsetooth to get some great shots. We both felt like we had survived an endurance event when we got back into the car. But we had a great time and laughed our heads off. And now on to the arrival of their sweet little girl! Don’t you just want to squeeze her? I think she is just edible….and she has two of the greatest parents out there! I was lucky enough to photograph Matt and Deb’s wedding and now I have had the privilege of photographing the newest addition to their lives. I can’t wait to see what adventures the three of you will go on (Matt and Deb met in Antarctica)! Hang on little one…you are going to lead an exciting life!

Oh how I love newborns! It was such a joy to meet this new little soul! I always find it best to photograph them within the first 10 days of life, that way they are still so sleepy and peaceful. This is the birth announcement that we created.
