This darling family (that you may remember from this winter) is expecting another sweet little one in just about a month. Doesn’t she look amazing? I feel as if my baby bump is about the same size and I still have 4 months to go! They are going to be surprised (just like us) so I can’t wait to hear the news and meet this sweet babe. Stay tuned for their newborn session and you will even get to see this little one grow- the best part of the “A New Life” package- is that… Read More »
I had the great pleasure of spending a quick afternoon shoot with these gorgeous kids. They needed some head-shots done so we ventured out to get that accomplished in between summer camp and volleyball practice. You three made my job easy…I think you have the knack of being in front of the camera down already! Thanks for a fun afternoon! Best, Rachel
Look at these two darling kiddos. No, they are not twins- one is about 2 years older than the other. The wonderful thing for me was that I was invited down to Denver to photograph both of them when they were both roughly 4 months old. So big brother is on the left in the next two images, and his pictures were taken about 2 years ago. Little brother’s photos were taken just about 2 weeks ago and he is on the right in the next two images. It is so fun to see the comparison of… Read More »

I love the unpredictability of one year olds. This little guy was not all too sure about getting his photo taken. But he warmed up to me as the shoot went on, and I think we got some great shots of him after all! Thank you so much for spending the afternoon with me. It was a blast! (I loved making a fool of myself in order to get little “F” to smile- it made me laugh too!) This field was in full bloom thanks to the spring rain we have had. I love the the… Read More »
The Olsen Family has exciting news!! We are expecting in early November! Our daughter is overjoyed at the prospect of being a big sister (she has been asking for “her own baby” for about 9 months now!) and we are thrilled to be adding another sweet little being to our family. With this exciting news in mind…plan ahead this summer for your family portraits. I will have a limited number of sessions available, and will be wrapping things up earlier in the fall for holiday portraits so that I have ample time before the babe… Read More »
I had the great pleasure of doing a shoot for Thirsties Cloth diapers for their product catalog which was just released. You may remember this beauty from our newborn session last summer. Well, she has grown and changed a bit over the last few months and was the star of our recent shoot! Could you ask for a better model?? As stated in the newborn session post, it bears repeating so that you can go check out how awesome Thirties are for yourself… Thirsties Modern Cloth Diapers are an incredible new way to think about cloth… Read More »
I had the best time with this little man and his parents. Not only is he darling but he has the best little personality! He decided that he didn’t want to take a nap on the day of the session- Murphy’s law, right? Isn’t that always what happens? But despite skipping nap- he rallied amazingly and hung in there through the whole shoot! (I can’t guarantee my daughter would do that!) Thank you for spending a beautiful afternoon with me, it was such fun! Best, Rachel
When I met Kate and Pete the arrival of their new little one really could have happened any day, she was only 9 days away from her due date. They were planning a home birth and had amazing artwork from friends lining their walls in support…what a wonderful idea!
It is so fun to see the final product! Chandra Body Works is now live and features images from our session last year. Dig in and check it out. If only I lived closer…I’d be utilizing all of Lillee’s services!
