Circles
Life leads you in circles…many speak of the 6 degrees of separation- and if you know me well it seems to be about 3 degrees of separation most of the time- which is fabulous! I love how life is so interconnected. 2 years ago I walked into a birthday party for a then 2 year old… I looked up and said- John what are you doing here? He asked the same question of me. It is indeed a very small world! I have know John since I was about 5 years old. He was my… Read More »
Best Buds
I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing these darling families recently. When the best friends from college (Julie & Marjorie) reunite now they bring their families too-what fun! And I had to include this shot- I love it! It was a bit of a misfire…but happy accidents are always welcome- you never know what you’ll get! Thanks for spending a lovely morning with me. I hope that you had tons of fun during your visit. Best, Rachel
Magnetism
With some families you instantly sense their awesome magnetism… I had the best afternoon running around in the Colorado State University Oval and in Old Town Fort Collins with this darling family. And what could be better than ending the session with the best icecream in town at the Walrus? Thank you for being so much fun to work with. I had a blast!
Keeping up!
Little “C” is going to have a lot of keepin’ up to do with his two older siblings! I had the great joy of photographing this newborn a few days after his arrival into this world. He is well loved by big brother and sis (and Mom and Dad of course!). Thank you for inviting me into your moments and for letting me run around in the backyard with your sweeties. Enjoy this time with your newest addition. Congrats!!
Those Cheeks!
Typically, I love being able to get outside and run around for family photography session but since it was pouring rain outside, we were forced to have an inside shoot…and it was so much fun! This darling family is so sweet and the kiddos are full of personality. Dad was being deployed again the next day (on a short training mission this time luckily) so I was so glad that we were able to get the session in while he was home. The littlest member of the family was intended to be star of this… Read More »
A Spring Song
I had the great pleasure of photographing this beautiful Senior for an invitation to her Senior Violin Recital. Here are a few of my favorites. And here is what we came up with for the invite. Break a leg at the recital!
