A darling family of four!
This darling family was incredible and put up with the wind that seems to accompany spring in Colorado! The kids were amazing and patient, and luckily towards the end we had a few quiet moments with out the wind gusting. Thanks so much for playing in the natural grasses and spending the evening with me. I am still amazed at how well behaved your sweet kids were. (Please share your secrets!) All the best, Rachel
Edible!
These little guys are just edible! You may remember big brother from our family shoot about a year ago. At that time his mom and I were both early in our pregnancies and we were comparing notes on nausea and exhaustion. And still today we are comparing notes about exhaustion, this time due to interrupted sleep! I had a great time meeting their newest addition. Seriously, could he get any cuter? Thank you for inviting me to photograph your gorgeous family again! Best, Rachel
What a character!
I had the best time with this little man and his parents. Not only is he darling but he has the best little personality! He decided that he didn’t want to take a nap on the day of the session- Murphy’s law, right? Isn’t that always what happens? But despite skipping nap- he rallied amazingly and hung in there through the whole shoot! (I can’t guarantee my daughter would do that!) Thank you for spending a beautiful afternoon with me, it was such fun! Best, Rachel
Cuteness!
I mean seriously…does it get any cuter? This family is so full of love and joy that it just radiates from them. I photographed this darling little lady even before she entered this world and I was lucky enough to meet her when she was just a little thing. Now she is full of personality and has some of the best cheeks I have ever seen! Here is her beautiful mama (braving the gale force winds for this fun shot!) before “J” arrived.
Change in weather
Boy did we see a change in weather from the first shoot to the second! We met on a gorgeous fall afternoon to do the origional shoot, but dad was stuck at work and couldn’t join us…so we set up the second shoot and wow how the weather had changed- cold and snowy. Both weather elements provided great backdrops for this gorgeous family.
A Fall Treat
We had a gorgeous fall evening to play in. And boy, don’t they look like they stepped right out of Mother Nature’s wand to fit perfectly into the fall landscape? Thank you for spending a wonderful evening with me.
Mini Sessions 2010
What a fun day it was and what a whirlwind it was. It was my first day ever offering mini sessions… each family had a 20 minute session geared towards images for holiday cards/ updated family pictures. We lucked out with weather, as it had been threatening rain/snow…but sunny skies prevailed. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful group of people to spend the day with. Thank you for being such amazing souls with wonderful heartfelt love for one another. I think your love shows through in the images- even when you only had 20… Read More »

Sabrina’s Senior Session
We lucked out again with a quick break in this somewhat odd weather for Colorado. (I can’t say I mind it, but we have had more rain than I remember for late July!) But we had the perfect weather for Sabrina’s senior session. A bit overcast with sun streaming through the clouds. We couldn’t have planned it better. Thank you for being so much fun to work with and so easy going! And thanks for “enjoying the nature” with me. I know that you will have a wonderful senior year ahead…and I can’t wait to… Read More »
