A Weekend Away

There is nothing better than mixing work with pleasure. And truly… I feel as if I get to do that on a daily basis with this job; every shoot, every wedding has tons of pleasure built in. I guess that is what is so great about loving what you do!

We spent a lovely weekend in Vail and I was able to squeeze in two shoots while we were there, as well as taking in a great road ride, the farmers market and the art fair! Vail is one of our favorite places to escape to- so if you are looking for a portrait session, give a call- any excuse to get up there is a good one!

Do you remember this little peanut?

Here she is now!

And check out this doll…I just want to squeeze him. “V” has a beautiful triptych of her mother and herself when she was about the same age as a baby, so she wanted to be sure that she had similar images as a family heirloom to pass along to him. These were three of my favorites, but she has quite a few to choose from…he was just too cute to narrow them down!
