Anne & Adam – Grand Lake Wedding

Anne and Adam had a beautiful wedding in Grand Lake, a place that is near and dear to their hearts.

The day started at Anne’s family’s beautiful cabin, which was hand built by her father. It is aptly named “Almost Heaven” and I can appreciate why.

I was amazed at all of the D.I.Y (Do it Yourself) details that Anne created for their wedding day. I think her father’s quote about her amazing creativity was something to the effect of  “this was a craft project on steroids.”

Anne “bedazeled” her shoes, made her jewelry and her bridesmaid’s jewelry, made the handkerchiefs for parents and grand parents, made the red flower balls in the church, made her great red sash and white flower hair piece for the reception, made the just married sign on the boat, made the great kid’s activity bags, and not to mention she made the favors- home made cherry jam labelled “spread the love” (which is delicious by the way!). And her father and father-in-law made the A+A log, the cake stand, the Unity Candle stand and the center piece holders. What a talented bunch. All of their hard work made for such a fun and personalized wedding.

It was a wonderful day full of love, laughter, friends and family.
