Corina & Amos – Redstone Inn Wedding

I was lucky enough to second shoot Corina and Amos’s wedding at the Redstone Inn with Julie Afflerbaugh last summer.

I have to admit it may be one of my favorite weddings I have ever been a witness to.  Corina and Amos are so authentic and their wedding was a true celebration of the two of them.  Friends and family helped with all sorts of DIY touches- her sister did the flowers, her friends made the cake, their friends were in the band, Amos had special Nikes designed for his groomsmen, the beer was brewed at a close friend’s brewery, locally grown hops covered the arch used in the ceremony and friends collected aspen branches to decorate the canopy. One of my favorite touches was during the ceremony they each had three people stand up to speak about  & introduce them to the other guests-so, if you were a guest of Corina, you would learn more about Amos and vice versa. The sentiments shared ranged from childhood through adulthood and were so well said that everyone felt as if they learned a bit about Corina and Amos even if they had known them for years.  Everything about their wedding day was very heartfelt. It was impossible to not feel the love and to become part of it (even if you were just the second shooter!).

There were so many terrific moments and details from this wedding…that this is an image overload post!

Julie’s wonderful photography from Corina & Amos’ wedding was also featured on the fantastic wedding blog Style Me Pretty.

Thank you again Julie for inviting me out to the Redstone Inn to shoot Corina & Amos’ wedding.  It was a blast.
