Jessie & Brett had a beautiful, heartfelt wedding day, that I was honored to be a part of. You can see through the photos that their wedding day was filled with a lot of laughter and so many contagious smiles- how can you contain yourself when you see Jessie’s brilliant smile?
The Ryssby Church was the perfect place to celebrate their love for one another and their faith in God. Their ceremony was full of wonderful music, lots of singing, beautiful traditions, tender moments and radiant smiles…and maybe the best exit I have seen to date!
The Colorado rain had perfect timing for their wedding day- it held off until we were inside for the ceremony, and then cleared for all of the fun evening festivities. After the ceremony we exited the church to beautiful evening skies and the magical sounds of the Northern Colorado Caledonia Pipe Band Bagpipers, who Brett happens to play with (when he’s not getting married!)
Their fun continued when we returned to the Shupe Homestead for the reception. The Shupe Homestead was decorated with so many fun personal touches. The centerpieces were gorgeous flowers from Jessie’s father’s greenhouse, Short Grass Farm. And their cake, made by La Momo Maes, was adorned with a great Lego cake topper as a nod to Brett’s fondness of the fun toys. Bay Window Catering put together a wonderful meal and the dance floor was full thanks to Tip Top Music Entertainment. And I can’t say enough about the wonderful people that run the Shupe Homestead, the Shupe family. They have created a beautiful venue and are fantastic to work with.
Brett and Jessie- your wedding was a blast to be a part of. The two of you beam when you look at each other, and you share such a wonderful sense of humor between the two of you. I am sure you will be smiling and laughing for years and years to come! Make sure that goofy chicken keeps showing up in random spots throughout life!
Wishing you all the best, Rachel
I had some fun with film at Jessie & Brett’s wedding. Some of my favorite images are below. I am loving this film exploration!
And a HUGE thanks to my good friend and second shooter Alison Williams. It’s always a blast to work with you!
